Building for Today, Building for Generations
At Rubicon, we know that building sustainably is both smart and responsible, with many valuable benefits. We encourage and offer sustainable approaches to all our work—to help reduce a building’s energy and life cycle costs, as well as bring a more efficient use of resources to a project. In this way, we can meet the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
Our team and our project partners have built many sustainable projects. To us, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is much more than a certification for sustainably designed and built projects; it is intelligent building with community in mind. When this approach is part of a project’s goals, we recommend that it be incorporated into either the CM or the DB delivery method. The proper full team collaboration ensures that the project maximizes long-term energy efficiency and ecological responsibility, while also achieving our clients overall economic goals.
