Fo Guang Buddhist Temple was the first temple that Fo Guan Shan Temple established in Massachusetts. The temple was founded in 1990 by Hsing Yun. Fo Guang offered a range of services for the local community especially to professors and students at Harvard University, and MIT. In 2014, the temple moved to 71 Concord Ave, Cambridge, MA where it currently resides.
