The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) moved their headquarters from downtown Boston, MA to the six-story City Square building in Charlestown, MA.  AMC is a nonprofit organization created in 1876 to protect the outdoors, ensuring ongoing access to the Northeast’s most precious natural resources for recreation and education.  The 17,000 sq. ft. renovation and office fit-out required an accelerated schedule to minimize the re-location downtime and impact on employees.

  • Formulated and maintained a fast-track accelerated schedule
  • Second floor is considered an Assembly Area and required a unique approach
  • Coordinated the re-location and re-use of fixtures from the former 100 year old building in Boston, MA,: mantles, stained glass, and a large chandelier
