The Metrowest YMCA serves thousands of members and the local community with many valuable services that include health & fitness, childcare, after school programs, water safety, and food security. Phase I was the occupied renovation of the men’s and women’s locker rooms utilizing a comprehensive phasing plan to minimize the impact to members. The scope of Phases II & III involved the renovation of the swimming pool, fitness studios, admin offices, early learning center, and food support areas as well as the addition of the a new basketball court. All phases of construction totaled over 40,000 sq. ft.
Project Highlights
- Construction operations conducted in occupied facilities with minimal impact to YMCA members and staff
- Developed and utilized a comprehensive site logistics plan to promote safety on an occupied campus and building
- Collaborated with the MWYMCA team, board, and design team during Preconstruction
