We achieved a major milestone for the Worcester Regional Food Hub. The Food Hub is designed to bolster a robust regional food system, the mission is to increase local food access and consumption and recruit, retain, and incubate local food entrepreneurs, collectively building healthy, sustainable, and just communities.

The overall project is the renovation of space within the Worcester’s historic Union Station. Once completed, the renovated space will feature commercial kitchens, storage, and community space all designed to support and train entrepreneurs while promoting food equity throughout the region.

The milestone achieved was setting the steel and equipment on the roof over train tracks. This milestone required month of strategic and logistical planning. Awesome work by the Project Team for executing this logistically challenging plan!
